FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS |
The game begins at the start of the school year in April. Since real time is in February, the first semester (April - July) will be a little more stretched out in order for the in-game calendar to catch up to real-time. This will also help new players joining to not be too far behind. After that, the date will be in real-time. While you could get by knowing the premise, it is highly encouraged you watch both seasons of the show to better understand how the world functions. It is available to stream for free entirely on Crunchyroll (subbed) and episodes 1-15 & 26-38 on Funimation (dubbed) as of 1/25/18. Since many players are anime-only, please keep all manga-related content in #spoilers-ooc. Anything up to Season 2 of the anime is fair game. Adventures at UA is set after the events of My Hero Academia with all original characters. The Deku gang have all grown up and/or are retired. OCs cannot be related to canon characters so no grandchilden of Bakugo blasting around please. Ideally, we’d prefer to have under 30 players at a maximum to keep things manageable and make it possible for all writers to be able to interact with each other. While we know there’s games out there with hundreds of players, our aim is to have a tight-knit community involved with the plot. Events will be moderator-started group scenes, typically for hero course activities, festivals, or villain-driven scenarios. They will typically be every 10-14 days depending on activity. For classwide events, if you are unable to participate, we ask you submit a short summary of what your character did so that it is canon in the game. Villains will be introduced to the students of UA in May. There will be important news broadcasts related to the plot in the weeks leading up til then. In the interim, we encourage players to develop in-character bonds so when they do face foes they are willing and able to work together. Second characters are allowed but we insist members be active for 3 to 4 weeks before adding a second one onto their plate. We want your first character to be established in-game before tackling another. |
